What We Do
Media blasting, more commonly known as sand or abrasive blasting, is the operation of forcibly propelling a stream of the appropriate media, typically using high pressure compressed air, against a surface to smooth a rough surface, roughen a smooth surface, shape a surface or remove surface contaminants. The technique requires experience and knowledge in both adjusting air pressure and selecting the proper blast shot media to balance the need to create the best possible surface after blasting while also reducing and minimizing any surface damage that may occur.
